TITANS.

Everything about Shifter Titans, Warrior Candidates, Titan abilities and the Attack Titan system.

Shifter Titans

Beyond SMP plans for 9 Shifter Titans, while the Attack Titan is managed separately. Each normal Shifter Titan has one owner.

Players enter the Warrior Candidate system through the spawn selection area. Candidates train and complete challenges. A leaderboard is updated after challenges, and when a Titan becomes available the highest eligible Candidate receives first choice. A selection system based around a multi-week class period is being considered.

Available Titans

Danny's AOT mod is expected to provide the Shifter Titans used by the server. Cart and Founder are not currently available in the mod setup being used, and their addition is a requirement for Beyond SMP to launch. Other Titan availability may change with the mod.

Transformation & Abilities

• B is the planned default transformation key, although players may use a different key.
• Number keys are used for Titan abilities.
• Shifters lose the relevant powers if they lose their Titan.
• Shifting uses energy that refills over time; when depleted, the player cannot shift again until it recovers.
• Some abilities have special movement/activation mechanics. For example, the Colossal Titan has a powerful ground-impact style ability when activated while falling with sufficient distance from the floor.

Attack Titan

The Attack Titan is separate from the normal Shifter slots and can potentially be obtained by any faction. Current Shifter owners cannot participate in the main competition because they already have a Titan.

The Attack Titan is won through a scheduled arena event, planned weekly or every two weeks. It is PvP with no shifting and no bending. The event can run in rounds, with the winner becoming the Attack Titan holder.

Outside Challenges

A player who wants to challenge the current Attack Titan outside the scheduled event must first pass a worthy test. A Moderator records the test and sends it for approval. The exact approval process is still being finalised.

Loss of a Titan

A Shifter can lose their Titan through the relevant server system/event. Exact loss conditions and the transfer process are still being finalised.
