OFFICIAL BEYOND SMP HELP CENTRE
TEAMS & PARTIES.
Beyond SMP uses two different systems for different purposes: Team (ST) and Party (OCAP).
Team (ST)
Team (ST) is the actual social/player team system. It is intended to provide team identity, names, colours and future TAB/chat features.
- Anyone can create a Team (ST).
- Teams (ST) can include players from different factions.
- Opposing factions can be in the same Team (ST).
- Different Paradis military branches can also be in the same Team (ST).
- The planned maximum is around 64 players, subject to change.
- The creator becomes the owner.
- The owner can manage membership, and members can leave.
- Team (ST) names and colours can be changed.
- Additional features may be added later.
Internal ownership/roles may exist, but official owner-style labels are not intended to appear in TAB/chat in a way that could make players think a Team (ST) owner is a server owner.
Party (OCAP)
Party (OCAP) is primarily for shared claims involving multiple people.
- Anyone can create a Party (OCAP).
- Players from different factions can be in a Party (OCAP).
- A Party (OCAP) can be used to manage a shared claim.
- The creator is the owner, with ownership transfer still being a possible feature.
- The owner can invite/remove members and members can leave.
- Everyone in a Party (OCAP) is intended to receive the relevant shared-claim access.
